SNOW RELATED Archived250 Ct-34 New Haven, CT 06511, USA - New Haven - Ward 03The whole stretch of Frontage Rd/Rte 34 from Grasso to the 95 onramp looks like it's barely been touched by snow plows. Thick snow and slush and very hard to drive. It's been more than 24 hours since the storm ended, so this is just ridiculous. Did the City just decide to take it easy this time?
I get that there are many streets to plow but don't the major roadways - particularly the main stretch that leads to the hospital - get priority!? Main Street in Branford is clear of all snow, and NHV can't plow a main artery a full day after a storm. SAD! -
Potholes ArchivedEllsworth Avenue New Haven, Connecticut - EdgewoodMany potholes and chewed up pavement on Ellsworth Ave., especially between Chapel St. and Derby Ave., and between Whalley Ave. and Goffe Terrace. Requires constant maneuvering to avoid. Beyond Goffe the road is nice and smooth... would like if someone paid attention to the rest of the street and fixed it up, please.

Very Rough Bumps in Road ArchivedSpringside Ave./Blake St New Haven, CT - West RockRight under the light at Blake St. and Springside Ave. is a very rough and bumpy piece of road (in the Whalley Ave-bound lane). Even at slow speeds it's a rough ride, sounds terrible, and at one point I damaged something on the bottom of my car from it. Every time I drive over it, I feel like I'm nailing my car. Often I have to drive into the other lane to avoid it so long as no one's coming.
