In the past couple of weeks long lines of cars wait to cross the intersection with Ashford Center Pkwy and Womack Rd eventhough there is plenty of space for cars waiting to cross Mt Vernon Rd. For years I have left my home at the same time and I'm very familiar with the normal traffic patterns. Something has happened in the past couple of weeks and an adjustment needs to be made on the signal to lengthen the time for cars heading north in the morning. The wait has led to cars making illegal left turns on Valley View or quick turn arounds on Nerine Cir in order to get onto Valley View. Thank you.

While I noticed this issue last week, I was pleased that a Police Officer was directing traffic to ensure that it was running smoothly. The construction taking place at the intersection is causing major traffic problems. This morning it took me 15 minutes to drive from just south of the library to the intersection causing me to be late for an important. Please ensure that this major intersection in our city is appropriately monitored.

There is a section of payment on the west side of the street that is raised and cracked.
  • Chamblee Dunwoody And Womack Dunwoody, Georgia - Dunwoody
I noticed that the traffic heading west from Womack across Chamblee Dunwoody does not have a dedicated turn lane or turn signal. When there is one car turning left or more likely, two cars, traffic is stopped because cars can not go around the vehicles waiting to turn. I believe that this intersection would benefit from alternating lights which would allow traffic from Ashford Center Parkway as well as traffic from Womack to proceed without being hindered by the other side of the road.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and we both have been caught off guard by the lane ending on Mount Vernon Rd heading east just past Chamblee Dunwoody. From Google Maps, I see that there is one area on the road indicating the lane ending but I think a sign would more bring attention to the lane ending. It also does not help that trees and branches cover the road where the lane ends and shades the area.

    Thank you for your service.
