    Although multiple request for stop signs have been denied for some reason that doesn’t make sense to me since it’s for children crossing the street, I would like to request that flashing crosswalks with an overhead sign stating school crossing be installed in this intersection because it is the main crosswalk for McKinley Elementary School children. Every day there are speeding cars, and even the crossing guards assigned to the school almost get hit on a daily basis. This is intersection is unsafe for our children and the city knows that this is a problem. Please do something about it before somebody gets hurt.

    I would like there to be a four-way stop at this intersection. It is very unsafe walking my children to school. Today, a large truck blew past the intersection as the crossing guard was trying to step out. People are not abiding by the 25 mph speed limit when children are present and it is a major cross street for William McKinley elementary school.
