1,150 feet of pavement on Thurman Rd, from the newer pavement near house #185 to the intersection at E Atlanta Rd, is extremely rough due to age, high traffic and downhill breaking to the stop sign. The foundation under pavement needs to be repaired and a new smooth solid top pavement applied. Because of the large quantity of traffic and that it is constantly stressed due to vehicles braking to the stop sign, this might be a good candidate for a stronger pavement, like reinforced concrete, for the last 400 feet southbound.
