Please Help. Hickory/Arran Rd, Richmond 23235 is listed on the City of Richmond Winter Maintenance Plan as Route 33 Priority II - which means snow removal 24 hours after snow stops. It's been 72 hours and our road has not been serviced. Preventative maintenance was not performed prior resulting in two very slick hills descending into a very sharp slick curve. Now that melting has began, the problem has been further exacerbated . A Fedex truck was stuck on Arran yesterday and Towing was not an option as the road was not accessible. I had to help dig him out as the road was now blocked. There are many elderly on this street and it is not accessible to emergency/rescue vehicles either. I know things are bad in many places however we are only one block off Huguenot Rd. My main concern is that the road becoming more and more slick and someone's vehicle is going to slide down the hill and wreck.

City recently dug out closed ditch causing water to pool in the yard due to ditch simply dead ends. Water will not run uphill and is flooding over into yard. When rain stopped water remained pooled in ditch. Picture attached. Needs to be resolved to avoid further erosion/flooding.

The city property at the end of & within the Cul-de-sac on Arran Rd has not been maintained and has resulted in overgrowth and clogged ditches impeding drainage. There are additional areas (belonging to the City of Richmond) along this short street where there is an overgrowth of foliage, weeds and dead debris extending out pass the ditch into the street. We would kindly appreciate the City sending out a crew to tackle this mess. Thanks in advance.

According to your leaf schedule, leaf pickup was completed March 31, 2016. The problem is that none of the North Hampton subdivision has been touched! I have made several calls and received plenty of assurance that we are on the schedule. A couple of us on Arran Rd, hired a private company to remove our leaves.Leaves are still blowing onto our your from other neighbors whom are still waiting for the city to show up. As our tax dollars provide for this service, I feel that 8524 should be reimbursed a portion as we did not receive this service. Please come out and take care of this w/o additional excuse. There has been no snow on the ground nor are we expecting any in this neighborhood. Please Respond

Drainage ditch in front of 8524 Arran Rd, Richmond VA 23235 is deteriorating, resulting in the slow continual collapse of the road as well as the loss of front yard. A significant amount of the front edge of my yard has drained downhill and is now located in my next door neighbors yard and we would like it back. I have complained to the city about this for 3 years. They (city) come out and cut away more of my property every year resulting in a dangerously deep ditch. We use to be able to walk across the ditch but not anymore. We requested last year a permanent resolution to this problem such as concrete or asphalt and was declined. Please respond, as our land plot is gradually decreasing but our property tax is not.

    Thank You,
