Across the house 620 Hibiscus Dr. Venice there is a creek that because of the flood waters you cannot differentiate where the street ends and the creek begins. A couple of yards south of these houses there are cones because Hibiscus Drive is flooded all the way to Everglades. But the creek is before the cones and there is no marking. These waters are not receding and I am afraid that somebody backing up and making an u turn because they cannot drive thru the street is going to drive into the creek. I did not have my phone while I was walking to take a picture.

It is a shame how chaotic the sand bag distribution was this year in the City of Venice. To pick up the bags at the government building they closed at 4:00pm and people could not get their bags. There is a lot of people that work and cannot get out earlier. At the sight to get the sand is self service and the wait was over an hour. On top of that there are a lot of elderly people that cannot fill the sand bags and them carry them. Luckily I am retired and have all the time in the world . I am healthy enough to fill and carry the sand bags. I just saw a lot of frustration and people leaving after being in line because they were fed up. It is time for the City of Venice to invest in a sand machine with public works employees working so people just drive up and the bags are put in their vehicles. There are communities North of us that have this system Thank you. .

Two Missing street signs on Palermo and US 41 on Venice island.

I believe these two trees on the West part of the waterway bike trail by the Venice performing center have been down since the storm.

This street sign was installed recently and I believe it should be gulf St not gulf drive. The sign is one bock west of 601 Gardenia Drive on Gulf St and Park Blvd.

I just saw this tree almost blocking the bike trail going from the wooden bridge east towards the waterway .

This bicycle is behind the Publix on 41 and Palermo. It is being there for over a month with no tire and completely damage. It is on a bike rack next to the bike trail behind Publix.

Graffiti on the side and under the circus bridge. I am afraid if not cleaned up it is going to get worse.

This graffiti with the word "Love" has been there for weeks . Now the word "Hate" was written. The location is by the circus bridge on the South West part of the Intercostal trail is. It is awful because it faces the water and the trail. Thank you.

On the Southeast corner of the Circus bridge I had reported two weeks ago people living under the bridge. Since then they have left or hopefully they were told to leave. But their garbage it is all in a pile and a shopping cart still there for weeks. Also on the side of the Southwest part of the bridge there is a bicycle up on the bridge locked and parked there. The last thing in this area if you walk on the trail on the South Venice side away from the bridge the very first bench there is a homeless man with a bike sitting there at night. I have no idea of the laws in Venice Fl. about homeless people but I am concerned this area is beginning to be a gathering place for homeless. Elderly people and young girls use this trail to walk and the surroundings are getting to be very uncomfortable. Thank you.
