    I'm gonna need everyone's help on this one. I'm a good friend of this elderly lady (born Jan1934) and hate to see her having to sweep the water from these potholes in front of her home. I've posted it several times on SeeClickFix and their reply was that they are aware of it and it's on their list...heck we are going on 5-yrs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's practically driven this elderly woman nuts. Every time I see her sweeping it, she's livid and frustrated that the "system" has failed her. So, what do I do? I go to Home Depot and get 2 bags of asphalt and filled the darn holes as best as I could. Unfortunately, the weather keeps working against us. How do we get the City of Oakland to act on repaving the ENTIRE street. They owe it to her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joyce, has lived in this neighborhood for approximately 17-yrs. A retired educator (40+yrs), she gets up early and spends her morning sweeping the sidewalk and/or picking up leaves. She's all about cleaniness, but angry that as she would put it "they ain't doing #$%#! At 90, she should be relaxing not picking up after someone else's neglect for cleanliness. I need your support to get the City of Oakland to REPAVE MONTCLAIR AVENUE for Joyce! I also don't mind any suggestions you may have. PS: Aside from being a realtor, I also rideshare. And boy if you only knew the number of potholes in the City of Oakland you'd have a fit. Last year (about this time), I had 2 of my tires damaged due to a pothole just off HighSt by that busy &*^* gas station along the freeway. At times, I have to step back and think...could this just be another way of preventing crime in the neighborhoods? LOL. Who the heck wants to drive along potholes when making their escape? LOL. Try driving along 23rd St btw Telegraph and Northgate. I try to avoid going onto 23rd when ridesharing and humbly alert the rider to do their part and complain about the potholes on their street. Potholes are not very welcoming and costly on our tires. As a taxpayer, Joyce shouldn't be having to be maintaining our streets. 5-yrs!!!!!!!!! Now come on! Montclair Ave is only but 4-5blocks, I vote it gets repaved and renamed Ellis-McGee (after her late husband Emmanuel who pass away at the age of 101 a few years back.

    There is a White Kia with Vin number 3KPF24ADXLE216687 parked on our driveway as well as a Black Audi (9DHK599) that has been parked in front of the house for over 2 weeks. It is most likely both vehicles have been stolen. Also a Hyundai parked in front of 7001 with license plate 7YWZ139 with broken window that is currently block driveway from access. I'm afraid squatters are trying to occupy property from seeing broken window in the rear of 7007 Lockwood. Last week you removed a vehicle from the rear yard. This time the Kia is on our driveway and blocking access to driveway. Just witnessed to teenagers (black males in their teens) approx 15-yrs old trying to access the Hyundai. They took off. Wearing hoody and carrying backpacks. They are still in the vicinity.

    This sidewalk needs serious attention. And, now while the students are at home sheltering in place, it's the right time to repair. Worst yet, you also have elderly living in the area and one fall will certainly cost the city more than they can handle if they don't repair it soon.

    It appears this house may be vacant. Took lots of pictures of all the trash dumped by the garage area but also looks like the backyard is full of more rash...the said thing is even the neighbor mentioned "someone has to report it". As a real estate agent, I take pride in seeing communities thrive...this homeowner / property just seems to be neglectful of the fact we need to strive on build our communities even if I don't live in the area!

    Pothole caused serious damage to the 2 left tires of my 2001 BMW 325i while driving on Shattuck just before 61st St in Oakland. The incident occured at 12:30 a.m. On 7/28th.
