Our recycling toter has been missing since last week. I think someone either erroneously brought ours in, it blew away in the storms last week, or the city took it back? Either way, we need a replacement.

This friendly little dude has been hanging at our place for 2 days - he really wants in! Before we add him to the zoo here, we want to try to find his owners (if he has any). He seems to be on the younger/ smaller side; intact, no collar, very clean. He's friendly, "talkative" and seems to like being petted/ handled.

We have an appointment to take him to the vet next Saturday; get in touch if he's yours!

This trash can belongs to a neighbor but was displaced by sanitation workers a few weeks ago. No one has claimed it, can the city please come take it away? Thanks.

There is a manhole cover loose in the intersection of Derby Ave and Winthrop Ave. cars keep driving over it which is loud and disruptive, but it’s also a safety concern for cars and pedestrians.

One of my chickens got out of her coop last night. She’s a gray and black hen on the large side. Last seen in the vicinity of Derby Ave and Winthrop Ave. if you spot her, please try to grab her and contain her in your yard or an animal crate and I will come get her. I’m happy to offer a small reward for your efforts! Thank you.

This house caught fire over a year ago and has been in this condition; scorched, boarded up, and abandoned ever since. What is being done to either rehab or demo the building? It sits on the corner of chapel and Sherman, a prominent and important gateway to our community. I'd love to see this property fixed up and rented out or transformed into something useful, right now it's an eyesore and a liability.

Someone has left 2 blue recycling toters on the street in front of our house for over a week. These do not belong to us (we have one already and put our trash out on Winthrop, not Derby. Is anyone missing a recycling bin? Come get it, otherwise please have DPW come pick these up. Thanks!

Found this little guy wandering around the neighborhood at 12:30. Collar but no tags. Bichon mix? Pretty timid. We put him in our yard and closed the gate to keep him from wandering in the street. If this is your dog, or you know who he belongs to, let us know or just come get him through the gate. We left a blanket and bowl of water for him on the front porch.

We shoveled all afternoon to clear the sidewalk and then some jerk on an ATV -with a plow attached but raised- drove down the sidewalk and spread snow all over - undoing hours of hard work. I'm absolutely fed up with the way the city handles illegal vehicles like ATVs and dirt bikes. It's created a environment of utter lawlessness and the warrant/ property confiscation practice isn't working; for every vehicle in custody there must be 10 on the roads! It used to be they were only out on nice afternoons in the summer and fall, now, because the city is basically unable and unwilling to enforce any meaningful laws to prevent this, they're out all year long. Now, not only do we have to deal with this dangerous nuisance, but we have to shovel again. When will this city get serious about getting dirt bikes and ATVs off the streets?

Someone dumped a broken toilet on the sidewalk at the intersection of Winthrop Ave and Gilbert St. Further up the block, there is a dumped, gutted TV, and further down the block there is some decaying furniture (maybe a bookshelf?) in an empty lot. Can someone from Public Works pick this garbage up? It's attracting more illegal dumping and litter. Thanks!

The Seventh Day Adventist church on the corner of Winthrop and Derby is having some sort of outdoor revival with a sound system. This is obnoxious and disturbing the peace. Why should we be subject to their religious views in the privacy of our own homes? When did their personal faith become something they feel compelled to force on all of us, and how is this OK? All the windows are closed and I can hear it as if they're playing on my stereo at home. This has been going on for over an hour. This is a residential neighborhood and it's inappropriate of them to take such liberties in our shared space. My god, whoever is on the mic can't even sing! This is terrible!!

The one-way traffic sign on the corner of George and Winthrop has been knocked over and is laying on the curb strip.

There has been a high-pitched electronic/ mechanical squeeling sound all morning. It doesn't appear to be coming form one particular place, and varies in pitch and volume. It almost sounds like the whine of an electric saw or ringing in someone's ears, but no one seems to be using one nearby and it's definitely coming from somewhere in the neighborhood. It's pretty consistent - ringing steadily, changing pitch, then fading out briefly only to return a few seconds later. It's incredibly annoying. Anyone else hearing this? Any idea what's going on? Hopefully I'm not going crazy... lol
