This is just a sad sad situation on poor apartment management. I didnt want to infringe on these folks when they are parking their inoperable cars on their driveways and parking lots but now its starting to spill into the street and this unit has a flat tire, and no up to date tags. This location along with dayton square project should be code enforcements golden ticket award.

This is an apt compound of sort with graffiti inside the complex and out. The trash container is your first issue with this property covered in tag. There is a fence that is built to hide these containers but its not used. Ive never seen this gate closed.

This home for years has had "stuff" for sale in its yard. My understanding is there is a limit as to how many a resident can have and for how long. This yard art has got to go. Note the tire seems to be an ongoing thing in the pictures.....

Its the first house on the south side of street from Belknap.

Tires were dumped by a pick up truck lisc AT72520 on Saturday

at 1155am I was sitting at the corner of Minnie and and alley just north of Post, I see a pick up truck come out of the alleyway behind the business Latino 2 AT72520 with 2 women in the cab with tires stacked 4 feet about the back of the bed and a tire fell off, then they made a hard right on Minnie where more tires fell out and the lady was swerving back and forth forcefully as if to make the tires fall, I turned around and attempted to follow them tires continued to fall out as they swerved back and forth, as it made a hard right onto Hollis then a hard left onto Minnis where another dozen tires fell out and I pulled over cause I couldnt pass the road. I observed them continue to swerve harshly down minnie side to side until they turned hard left on Waldemar and disappeared. I called the police as a couple children went into the street to move the tires to the sides of the road. PD said they already had a call on it. I continued onto Layton and observed several more tires in the road and a man near the corner of Post on Layton was picking up tires next to the curb that rolled into his yard and the street. I went back to the corner of the Alley and Minnie St. when the pick up truck pulled down the alley from Layton and the passenger threw out some trash from the cab, I began to drive toward her as she crossed the street to open a wooden gate and told her to pick up her trash she picked up an orange soda bottle and threw it in the back of the bed of the truck. I told her as I passed that I was calling the cops and recommended she go pick up the tires, she looked both ways as the pick up backed in behind the fence. I called Latinos 2 and asked for the owner, spoke to him in spanish and told him I was calling the cops and didnt appreciate his business tactics he began to use explertives and I terminated the call. I called the HCPD back and gave them the details.

The XTRA lease yard seems to be emptying out but there is grafitti on the East wall of the building along the river side that is visible from the freeway and midway that screams welcome to haltom city a place to call urban blight. Lets go guys, Get this under control.

This property owner has never maintained his frontage on the street side of the fence and it looks horrible. Please have them remove this blight. It also causes drivers not wanting there cars scratched by the overgrown vegetation to hug the center line and looking ahead to a blind spot on the w/b lanes.

Some guy in a HC utility vehicle stopped as I was there and I handed him some paperwork from a gift shop Morrisons in Waco. When I googled it, it showed to be a closed business. The concrete was in a bag and was left in the middle of the W/B lane and never removed until was run over by cars and there is broken glass that was dumped that had the morrisons of waco paperwork with it over the railing.

Some guy in a HC utility vehicle stopped as I was there and I handed him some paperwork from a gift shop Morrisons in Waco. When I googled it, it showed to be a closed business. A large pile of large concrete pieces were left on the side of the road in the ditch.

W/B belknap left turn light to S/B Carson is only about 4 seconds or so. There are at times 20 or so cars there trying to turn left but only 2 to 4 get through the light and there has been an increase in cars cutting across the empty feild or simply running the red light. Time needs to be added during those heavier times to eleviate the congestion and hazard.

Although the city is keeping a close eye on this location and making strides to improve it with limited expenditure, there is still an issue. I noticed every weekend new debris pops up at this isolated location. Currently tree debris and a mattress. There are cameras at this location, can we get the city to post the offenders pictures on the web and maybe have a location set aside in the Star Telegram or the monthly newsletter of who dumped and what fee was imposed?

There is a dodge plastic truck bedliner that has been on the curb for a month. I took this pick in October, thinking it would be gone from someone taking it or eventually code would drive down the street. NOT!
