Trustee Arresta claimed it had certificate of occupancy in place. after spending time in the files today, it is clear! this property has a Certificate of occupancy for a 3 bedroom, unfinished basement and garage. it is clear one of the illegal bedrooms has no egress. for this property to comply, Suffolk County board of health would have to approve a 5 bedroom septic system, not a outdated 3 bedroom system. Town of Southampton electrical inspector would have to issue a underwriter upon final inspection for electrical. there would also be permit numbers and inspection cards for Village building inspections.
    By law, there should be summons written daily, we seem to have a split village, those under the law and those above the law.
    3 Trustees, 3 ARB members and our Mayor need to be held accountable for their actions.

    unsafe jobsite. new above ground oil tank blocking electric meter within 5' of ignition point. no safety fence around new foundation. sloppy jobsite, garbage and debris can blow on Dale St or CR 39. as they seem to ignore the no approvals and have not been issued a stop work order. as they continue working, they should resolve these issues
