  • 3400 & 3300 Block Of Grayland Avenue Richmond, Virginia - Carytown

The sidewalks on the 3400 and 3300 block of Grayland Ave are overgrown with weeds. This makes it nearly impossible to use the sidewalk and there is no sidewalk on the other side.
At the corner of Grayland and Freeman, the grass and weeds are so high that that they have hidden a firehydrant.

There is also a stop sign at this corner that is not visible due to a tree.

Grass is overgrown on the side of Grayland that overlooks the Downtown Expressway.
No one lives on that side of the street, so the grass does not get mowed on a regular basis. In the past, this has been mowed by the city. Thank you.

There has been a Port-a-john sitting on the 3400 block of Grayland for months now. There hasn't been any construction crew working on this street for months. Please remove it. Thank you.

There is a VDOT work crew working on a strip of 195 that sits directly in front of my house. They use loud jackhammers, among other things. It goes on all hours of the night and is making it impossible for me to sleep.
It lasts until 2, 3, 4 o'clock in the morning and the level of noise is unacceptable in a residential area. I haven't slept now for several days.
I have talked to multiple people who work for VDOT and don't feel like they care about how this is affecting me.
I understand road work must me done, but not all night in a residential area.
