    One large pothole in front of the left turn lane turning from Gannon Rd onto Shepard Rd. There are also a few smaller potholes around that intersection (Mississippi/Shepard/Gannon intersection).
  • 4928 Highway 55 Minneapolis, Minnesota - Minnehaha
    At the intersection of E 50th and Hiawatha, when LRT trains come and Hiawatha is busy, Hiawatha gets backed up. That light is programmed to turn green for 50th when it detects a train. Once the crossing guards are activated, it turns green for Hiawatha. Once the train has cleared the crossing, it returns to green for 50th.
    The problems are twofold: It turns green for 50th before and after a train, even when there are no cars on 50th, -and- when it turns green for Hiawatha while a train is crossing the intersection, it only stays green long enough for about three cars to get through the light. As a result it can take several cycles before traffic on Hiawatha can get through the intersection.
    Can anything be done to remedy this? Can sensors for traffic on 50th be installed? And/or can the green for Hiawatha be lengthened to last longer when a train is going though the crossing?

    Because of the closure on W 76th St, many people are using W 78th St as a detour route. During rush hour, 78th is now being backed up for multiple blocks. The light on 78th and Penn does not allow for much of this traffic to get through each cycle. Can the traffic light on 78th and Penn be reprogrammed, and/or can police direct traffic during peak hours to help alleviate this congestion?

    Two red lights are out at the intersection of S Canal and W 31st. When traveling South on Canal St., the red light on the left side is burned out. When traveling west on 31st street, the red light on the left side is also out.
