    Sometimes randomly this light only allows 4 cars through turning left off 278 onto Coggins road no matter how many cars are waiting. It seems to always be 4 cars oddly. Last week the cars were backed up onto 278 which blocks the traffic on that busy road.

    I drive my son off island daily at 9 am to an appointment and see this issue most days. On the other side of the street, coming on to the island from Bluffton I notice few cars as I am going west on 278 from Matthews to squire pope but then when I get to the windmill Harbour light and beyond the traffic is backed up to the second outlet mall in Bluffton. How is a 3 lane bridge going to help when the problem happens after they get off the bridge?

    Each year we come, we wish to recycle, just as hundreds, maybe thousands of others would do if you had recycle carts or containers. We have gallon jugs, aluminum cans, cardboard & glass to recycle but the airport is too far out of the way to drop off recycled items. What plans do you have to make this easy?

    For the past two weeks now, after the town supposedly made the traffic signals "better suited" for the actual real traffic, this light has been severely malfunctioning. When folks are trying to make a left turn from 278 to Coggins point Road, only 3 cars get through and the light turns red even when 8-10 cars want to get through. I have witnessed this 3 times waiting. In addition, on Monday night when there was no traffic at 10 PM on 278, I waited well over 5 minutes for the light to turn red so I could turn onto Coggins Point Road. I almost decided to turn on the red light thinking it was malfunctioning and it finally turned green. The lights are clearly not working properly?

    Traffic signals are not working efficiently at this intersection. Turns east from Beach City rd are impeded by traffic and the light is too fast. On the other hand, the traffic from Highway 278 on to Beach city Road takes too long to trigger a green left turn signal. People will go down and then make a U-turn creating a safety hazard.
