Hundreds of speeders daily fly through the light at Kentucky Ave. and D St. SE, and continue on at a high rate of speed southbound on Kentucky until they hit the stop sign at E St SE; many of these same drivers barely slow for that. There are many children that live in this zone, and many more that attend the nearby school. They are in constant danger of these reckless drivers, not to mention the adult residents who need to get in and out of their vehicles and cross the street. There needs to be traffic calming devices or speed cameras installed here before somebody or a chld gets killed.
