For the last 2 weeks there have been signs prohibiting parking on both sides of our street at the Putnam Ave. end from 7am until 5pm. There have been the same signs on Putnam Ave. The signs claim gas work will be done by Feeney Brothers. This prohibition means that unless one plans to leave very early in the morning, all of these spots are unavailable for overnight parking. The result has been increased parking problems throughout the neighborhood. If work were actually being done, that would be one thing. But having this problem day after day when the area has never been used has been extremely annoying. If work plans have changed, someone should have removed the temporary signs. The signs say the ban is in effect through 4/20. Please let me know if any work will be done and if not, please remove the signs.
