    This is the side alleyway next to my apartment (2 family) leading to the backyard on the right. This has been like this since we moved in, and, as per landlord admission, it has been like this since he bought the house 20 years ago. He has never made any attempted to fix it and it has gotten worse with each snow and rain. Several people have fallen and it is very dangerous. There is a door that is side entrance to the house for both apartments. It is very dangerous to step out of as the door is much higher than it should be and there are no stairs.

    This is above the shower. Was like this when we moved in (2010). The landlord just painted over it. There is a large amount of mold and the water damage continues through the ceiling in the floor of the upstairs apartment. Water routinely leaked from the ceiling. Landlord tried to fix several times, always with people who were clearly not trained. He recently painted the entire bathroom to cover up this damage. Water leaking hasn't been as severe, though the paint is already starting to bubble. There are several places throughout the house like this. Water damage in the ceiling and peeling and bubbling paint. When we ask if we can paint it, to protect us from the mold, the landlord refuses. Still hasn't fixed the problem.
