    Forest City Cemetery - Cumberland County
    A partial obstruction in Forest City Cemetery on the West (upstream) end along the Fore River is resulting in cars driving across grave sites and over a memorial stone. Please see photo. I am trying to connect with the cemetery staff so this may be remedied but Portland's Clickfix doesn't seem to recognize this as a place that the city is responsible for. If anyone knows the correct folks to contact please pass along! Thanks!

    Hi,
    Often, we find illegally parked vehicles in the space at the end of Newbury, facing Franklin, as shown in the photo. While each side of he street is marked as "No Parking" further up the street, it seems that drivers do not realize that the end of the street is no parking as well. There used to be No Parking signs at the dead-end, but they were removed during construction of the CHOM building on the Left side of the photo. Could we please have clear signage put back in this area? It would be similar to what is at the dead-end on Federal just a block North of this area. Thank you!

    Hi,

    The parking street sign outside 167 Newbury St. is hanging upside down. It appears that the upper fastener must have come loose. The sign and the post look fine so maybe just a new fastener will do it!

    Hi,

    The One Way signs at the corner of Hampshire and Newbury were damaged in the storm Monday evening November 30th. The sign was twisting violently in the wind and the two One Way signs at the top clashing together. A stronger mounting bracket and/or post may be helpful.

    167 Newbury Street Unit 202, Portland, Maine - Portland
    Not really construction noise, but no apprropriate choices. My complaint is the the Portland Polic Department building's chiller makes excessive and annoying noise levels. I have measured 74-76 dBA and there is a persistent whine, possibly from the compressor. This runs 24/7 during warm weather, interrupting sleep. I believe the noise level exceeds code as well, at least for nigh time. Please take steps to mitigate the excessive and persistent noise.
