    I am the Captain of DC Fire and EMS Engine 12 (2225 5th St NE). The no parking sign across from the firehouse is faded and people park directly across from the apparatus apron. When vehicles are parked there, fire apparatus can't make a left turn out of the firehouse. The fire apparatus has to make a right turn or wait for street vehicle traffic to clear out. This issue delays emergency response times.
