The building has been vacate since June 2016 due to litigation interest to ownership. The problem arose when they left a large half full dumpster on the property and people started throwing discarded waste into the dumpster. Once it was filled they continued dumping around the dumpster which has garbage, furniture building debris and other environmental hazardous material such as commercial frying grease. The rats are out of control and I often hear the scratching on my property walls. Furthermore, I have contacted the police when I witness the dumping but by time they arrive they are gone. I stopped trying to get tag numbers after I was threatened by an individual with a gun. Also they are dumping material between my home 2260 and the abandoned building 2256 High Street, SE. Please respond to this matter ASAP as it is disrupting my family's quality of life. And creating potentially serious health issues.
