My yard was once part of city property (there is also a walkway running through it). There is a drain in it that obviously empties elsewhere in the city and it is backed up completely. I have tried cleaning it out a few times myself and wind up with 2 garbage bags full of leaves/mud/runoff and no end in site. This leads to standing water on that whole side of my yard. I can add additional photos after a rainstorm and when I have someone available to help me lift the drain. Right now it is caked on there with mud. It needs a full gut cleaning from my side and presumably from the other side from the city and upkeep from the other side from the city or else my upkeep won’t be worthwhile.
