Hello, since traffic congestion off the 880 high street exit differs throughout the day, can both lane have a driving option to go straight, as well as their left or right turn options. During commute time the left lane is backed up for people going home to Alameda backing up traffic into the freeway exit lane, outside commute, the right lane gets backed up for people trying to go straight, entering/exiting the gas station or waiting for a train, all while the left lane is almost empty. I just want to go straight. I already see cars in the left lane going straight when it's just a left arrow. My luck would land me a ticket. From past memories, it seems like they used to be that way for both lanes to go straight. That little coliseum street between high and 42nd has such little traffic and eventually has 3 lanes so why can't the middle lane be straight and right turn option also to avoid merge issues on that little strip. That seems it would alleviate the back up of either left or right lanes during different parts of the day. Removing that little island just off the freeway and letting the right lane form sooner would get the back up of cars onto the freeway a place for those cars to go while they wait for the light. It's hard to merge into that exit lane on the freeway when it's already full of cars waiting. Thank you, I see theres some changes going on there, so I hope the traffic will get better there, not worse.
