There is a car that comes down Mansfield St at Sachem St driving the wrong way all the time! His license plate is from California. I've seen him 3 times now and he almost hit my car just now.

Every day and every evening, there are cars parked up and down Tilton St WITHOUT residential parking permits! Cars from out of state, etc. For the 4 years I've lived on Tilton I have had to get passes for my family cars and for visitors. I even got a ticket for not having a residential parking sticker! But I complied with the law and purchased all the stickers that I supposed to and faithfully every year! Please come and do something with these violaters!

There are several vehicles that park on my street without a residential parking permit. I don't know how they continually get by not having to purchase a residential permit when I have to do yearly! Not just me but several of my neighbors as we'll. it is very disturbing to see cars on your street that you never seen before or the owners. If some have to follow the rules governed by the city shouldn't all do the same?

There is a lime-ish green truck on the right hand side of the street closest to the STOP sign that just sits there. There's a white van that was reported a couple of weeks ago , who was ticketed, but is parking all over the street, still no sticker! This morning at 5.45pm leaving for work there are 3 sports type cars parked on the street NO STICKERS! Then you have the people who sacrifice their time and money and comply with the law dutifully, go and purchase their permits yearly, you have others who continually beat the system but reap the benefits.

If the permits and rules are to be followed then they should be followed by all!!

Yesterday the City imposed a parking ban on all residential streets. The parking ban was apparently to be strictly enforced with cars in violation of the ban being towed. Needless to say, Tilton St looks horrible! It's always the same residents following the rules like making sure they have their parking permits and visitor parking permits, moving their vehicles when a parking ban is issued, etc. since the plows came down the street and most of the cars that parked on the ODD side did not move, the plows could not move snow properly. Today and tonight we are going to have a big problem. There's an abandoned green older model truck parked on the odd side of the street closer to the "stop" sign. It should have been towed. Because a lot of residents ignored the ban and did not move their vehicles there is really no where to park now and not only that, it's dangerous.

It has come to my attention and many other citizens in New Haven county and even visitors to our city, that the meter maids are FRAUDUENTLY writing tickets when a person puts money in their meter and enters a building. The meter maids will write the tickets before the meter even runs out. This is outrageous! How can the city justify this? Certainly there are tons of people who illegally park, but I believe the meter maids are targeting people and paying people at that! In addition, they are letting tons of illegally parked people get away!! Why??? Because they are lazy!!! Why not hire people who wouldn't mind doing there job instead of creating a bad reputation for the city. If they don't want to do their jobs right, then fire them. But the citizens of New Haven, will not put up with this blatant disrespect!

I have called regarding people who do not hold resident stickers being parked on my street. When I first moved on that street I got a ticket. Now NOBODY comes and checks or gives tickets. I have lots of Yale University people parking their cars on the street during working hours and residents can't park their cars. Also, why is it that all these people can freely park on Ashumn and all the surrounding streets and not have resident stickers? But you would give a parking ticket to a resident of the area. I'm sending a copy of this to Mayor DeStefano also. Thank You.
