    Melissa Lucero left a voice message at the Mayor's Office on Saturday, January 13th to report that her garbage has not been picked up. She mentioned that her neighbor's garbage has not been picked up as well, and because he has so much garbage & recycling, he has been putting his garbage in front of her house. Melissa would like to get a call back at (203) 583-1426.

    Joan Hardy called the Mayor's Office very upset because her garbage was not been picked up today. She said she has not received mail in over a week because of all the snow on her street. Ms. Hardy also mentioned that there is garbage all over the street that has not been picked up. She was also upset about the fact that her recycling will not be picked up.

    Mrs. Alice Campbell (senior citizen/widow) called the Mayor's Office regarding snow on her sidewalk. Apparently, Public Works put snow back on her sidewalk after she had someone clean it.

    A constituent called the Mayor's Office to report that her garbage has not been picked up.
  • Englewood Avenue Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport
    Various calls have been received at the Mayor's Office to report streets that are in need of snow plowing: Englewood Avenue was plowed once (constituent said it needs to be plowed again), Nelson Terrace (off of East Main Street), corner of East Main Street & Huntington Turnpike (there is a big mountain of snow and children have to walk around it to get to their school.)

    Constituents left voice messages during the weekend at the Mayor's Office to report that their streets have not been plowed - 137 Wheeler Avenue (the handicap space in front of the building is covered with snow), Lyon Terrace and Milne Street.
  • 24 Alanson Road Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport
    Ms. Blanca Carcana of 24 Alanson Road called the Mayor's Office to report that her street has not been plowed yet. She is handicapped and mentioned that she has scheduled doctor appointments to go to next week. Ms. Carcana is asking that the City please plow her street. Her telephone number is (203) 579-9389.
  • 80 Whittier Street Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport
    A senior citizen called the Mayor's Office to report that his driveway was plowed in. The constituent mentioned that he paid to have someone plow his driveway because he is ill and unable to. He and his wife are both seniors and have doctor appointments to go to. The constituent was very upset and would like the City to plow the entrance to his driveway.

    The Mayor's Office has gotten numerous calls on snow plowing, some were in office voicemail. Please see all the streets that apparently have not been plowed: 69 Russo Terrace (was plowed on one side), 63 Derman Circle, 352 Woodlawn Avenue Ext (hilltop), 1760 Madison Avenue, Cottage Place (off of Main Street), Milton Terrace (a lot of sick seniors on this road), Oakwood Street (dead end), 111 Valley Circle (the constituent complained that the front of her gate and mailbox are covered with snow).

    A constituent called the Mayor's Office to report an air conditioner that was left in front of 135 Lincoln Avenue. It was dumped there during the holiday weekend.

    A constituent called the Mayor's Office to report a chest with four drawers that was illegally dumped on the sidewalk on Christmas Day.
  • 13 Fern Street Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport
    A constituent called the Mayor's Office to report an abandoned vehicle. Apparently, the person has reported the vehicle to the PD since October 19, 2017. The vehicle has smashed windows and garbage bags in it.
  • 3000 Madison Avenue Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport
    A constituent called the Mayor's Office to report an abandoned vehicle in front of 3000 Madison Avenue, Building 2980. The constituent said that the vehicle was reported to the PD, but, at the time it had a license plate on it. The person also mentioned that the plate was taken off of the vehicle about 2 weeks ago. The vehicle has been there for at least 8 weeks and has a business sign on it with telephone numbers - (203) 690-1899 and (203) 394-3915.
  • 65 Wessels Avenue Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport
    Mrs. Michelle Perry called the Mayor's Office concerning an abandoned vehicle on her street. Apparently, the vehicle has been there for over 6 months. Mrs. Perry mentioned that she has reported this matter to the PD on several occasions. She also said that it seems that someone in the neighborhood owns the vehicle because she has noticed that it continues to get moved from and back to the same spot.
  • Leslie Road Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport
    A constituent called the Mayor's Office regarding an abandoned vehicle on Leslie Road, off of Madison Avenue. The constituent said that the vehicle is near the stop sign and has been there for several weeks.
  • 49 Mencel Circle Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport
    A constituent called the Mayor's Office regarding an abandoned vehicle. The constituent stated that the vehicle has been in front of 49 Mencel Circle over a month without a license plate.
  • 49 Soundview Avenue Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport
    Mr. David Thompson (former City Employee) of 63 Soundview Avenue called the Mayor's Office. Apparently, his neighbor at 49 Soundview Avenue put out some leaves in the beginning of the year, which never got picked up. Mr. Thompson mentioned that she has been continually dumping more and more leaves, branches & weeds on the same pile. It is now becoming a mountain on the street area and it is also starting to smell.
    Mr. Thompson has called Public Works on several occasions. He would like to get a call back at (203) 371-4964.
  • 151 Wessels Avenue Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport
    Mrs. Carol Sobon of 153 Wessells Avenue called the Mayor's Office regarding a blighted property at 151 Wessells Avenue. Apparently, the property was put into foreclosure about 2 years ago. Mrs. Sobon is complaining that the property has not been taken care for sometime, it has overgrown weeds. She has been complaining to the City for over 2 years about the property and she claims that nothing has been done to resolve the problem.

    Ms. Shelly Poppy of 71 Pacific Street called the Mayor's Office regarding a city tree. Apparently, the city tree is leaning extremely toward the house she lives in and has termites. Ms. Poppy is very concerned because she is afraid that the tree is going to fall on the house and someone is going to get hurt.
  • 669 Beechwood Avenue Bridgeport, CT - Bridgeport
    Ms. Mona Johnson of 669 Beechwood Avenue (1st Floor) called the Mayor's Office to ask for help. Apparently, her garbage toter lid broke and she has been asking for a new one for several months. She needs her toter lid replaced as soon as possible to avoid bugs & animals going into the garbage.
