Trash has been dumped for a while under the mass ave bridge on memorial drive- going towards harvard square. This is a narrow lane so any obstruction can make people swerve into traffic.

Along amherst st in kendall sq (mit) someone had plastered 'it's ok to be white' stickers. I found three just between carlton st and wadsworth ( by parking deck, lamp posts). Please remove these as soon as possible. There may be others

The strip of grass between the cars and the sidewalk in front of 100 memorial drive has had deep ruts in it for at least a year. Grass does not grow and any rain water collects and becomes standing water. This issue runs along this whole block

There is a bag of trash in a big black bag that has been lying on the sidewalk in front of 100 memorial dr for weeks now. It is between the sidewalk and the cars parked on memorial drive

Recently three large rat holes have appeared in front of a residential tower on wadsworth st in kendall sq. They were filled in after i reported them, but they have opened up again, bigger than ever. I have lived on amherst street for three years and never saw a rat here before the holes appeared. The holes appear in the brush area to the left of the building alongside the sidewalk, and then to the right next to a utility pole. Thank you

Recently three large rat holes have appeared in front of a residential tower on wadsworth st in kendall sq. Last night i saw two rats running from the construction site across the street towards the holes. They were very large rats and the holes should be filled. I have lived on amherst street for three years and never saw a rat here before the holes appeared. The holes appear in the brush area to the left of the building alongside the sidewalk, and then to the right next to a utility pole. Thank you

The neighboring businesses have shoveled their sidewalks- but on either side of cambridge st by the train tracks- it's impassable. Not just slightly- but a mountain of snow. Impossible for elderly or disabled. Not sure whose property the tracks are but it should be maintained thank you

The intersection at wadsworth st and amherst street in kendall sq is dangerous for pedestrians now. Due to ongoing construction in the area, this is the best way for me and others to get to my home on amherst st. Wadsworth is now one way, with fencing blocking one of the lanes. This fencing makes it very difficult for cars to see the stop sign at the intersection. The problem is made worse with the bad lighting here. I dont blame drivers for not seeing the sign at night- because of construction and poor lighting- but better lighting would help ensure pedestrian safety here. Its so dark that i know when drivers miss the sign, they also may not see pedestrians who have to cross here due to multiple sidewalk closures. Please install better lighting here at the cross walks, in addition to maybe adjusting the stop sign for better visibility. Thank you

As a result of ongoing construction in the area behind main street in kendall sq, the area is hideous. Today i noticed that TEN MATURE trees next to the kendall t stop across from the marriott were removed. The area is now soulless. I get that this is happening for economic development but what about people who live here in the meantime? There is a tiny path now to the t from carleton because theyve expanded fencing. Now the trees and benches are gone. As i write this, two women also stopped and said how awful it is. Please do something to protect whatever is left of this area. Its a wasteland now.

The corner of amherst st and carleton in kendall square is getting more unfriendly to pedestrians. I understand construction is ongoing but at this point there is no real safe crossing here. There used to be a streetlight, stop sign, and visibly painted crosswalk at this intersection- now there is none. Additionally this morning i saw that just in front of the current faded crosswalk, there is now a construction parking sign. So trucks now block the cross walk. Lots of people use the mit t stop to get to 100 memorial drive and work in this area and use this intersection. It's really not fair to us.

This section of sidewalk is becoming too narrow to pass. The white house/business just before the kitchen store does not prune their bushes and they are planted over the sidewalk line. It seems like this section of side walk has not been paved unlike the surrounding areas. Their property is encroaching on the adjacent sidewalk.

This portion of the sidewalk in front of where an mit building used to stand is now blocked by overgrown branches. There is also garbage along the construction fence. Additionally whenever it rains a large stagnant puddle at the base of the 'driveway' sits long after the rain. The sidewalk on the same side of the st near the parking lot is also crumbling. It just feels like this st is being ignored until the new construction projects start in the area, but people live and work here in the meantime. Thanks for any help in keeping this area kept up.
