    The lid to this rock salt bin, which sits in the sidewalk at the Mass Ave entrance to the MBTA commuter rail station, is totally worn out, full of holes, has little paint left, and is a blight on our community. It does not represent our city well and it makes this portion of the sidewalk look depressed.

I had to walk out into the street early this morning to safely pass, and the street itself was slippery with a black ice coating.

    I love this tall grass. It couldn't be more stunning. But it is in the wrong place! When I approach Upland Road while driving on Walnut Avenue, before I can make a turn to the left I have to pull almost to the center of the road in order to get a full view of traffic coming from my right (Porter Square). That's kind of scary since I have to be watching for fast moving traffic coming from my left as drivers race to get to the corner before the light turns red. I ask that before next growing season this driving hazard be transplanted to an appropriate location and replaced with something equally as appealing but 15" or so in height.
