    Mass Ave & Bike Path Cambridge, Massachusetts - The Port

    I have a suggestion but first I would like to thank you very much for putting the new bicycle crossing signal where the bike path crosses Mass Ave. I ride through the intersection twice a day and this makes a big difference to my safety.

    The suggestion is to allow bicycle Crossing and pedestrian Crossing in both directions all at the same time instead of in sequence. Today the bicycle and pedestrian Crossings are making the car traffic wait for too long. If you gang together all The Pedestrian and cycle Crossings, The Crossings will be more efficient and auto traffic will be able to flow more smoothly. The pedestrians and cyclists have different paths so should not conflict.
