    Hi,
Someone decided to illegally dump their couch on the front grass strip at 132 Nash. I reported it to the Police, they came by, told me that I have to be there for them to fill out the report. I'm the landlord, why can't they just talk to the tenants? After all THEY are the ones living there. So its been back and forth with New Haven Police about this, its tiresome, and honestly, the couch is getting appropriately gross for Halloween...

Construction Site Fence loose and dangerously blowing accross the street on Nash, Mechanic and Willow. The construction company failed to properly secure MOST of the fence around the site, so its down, or blowing dangerously around. This is a HUGE hazard to traffic and cars (parked, and moving). It already hit one of my neighbor's cars. The fence blows accross the street, then back into the lot. Its affixed in certain places, so it swings around like a giant danger-door. Someone WILL get hurt, and property WILL be damaged by this. If they had just prepared for this and secured it properly, it would't be blowing dangerously all over three streets of New Haven.

The school on Nash has been pretty much taken down- but the daily noise and equipment is shaking the earth so much that the houses are literally shaking like in a small earthquake for hours. I called the city inspector Jim Eggert, and he left me a message saying everything was being monitored and within spec, bla bla- but me, and the houses on either side of me have been scared by the incredible amounts of shaking our houses are subjected to. I am afraid my house will fall down from all this. There are stress cracks in the ceiling. They never came by to look at the houses.
