I would like to suggest making Dudley St. two way for bicycles. It could be an alternate path for bicycles traveling on that particularly crowded section of Rindge Ave. It removes traffic from congested Rindge Ave which both cars and bikes would benefit from as well as increasing safety of cyclists. Furthermore, it is a path to Peabody/RAUC schools and would help keep children safe during the busy mornings. Dudley is currently one way and it seems there is ample width to allow bikes in two directions. Thank you for considering this idea.

There is a walk signal on Mass Ave at Porter Sq mall for pedestrians crossing in front of cars waiting to turn left onto Mass Ave (across the street from Rod Dee). The walk signal turns to "don't walk" way before the cars are the left turn arrow (about 13-14 seconds too early). This pedestrians ignore the "don't walk" signal and cross in front of the cars just as they get their 9 seconds to turn left. Could the "walk" signal be extended to reflect that pedestrians can cross, so that when the "don't walk" appears it really means it?
