    The house at 2019 has been sold and appears to be going through renovations. This is all well and good, and we have seen numerous contractors (plumbing, electrical) vehicles in the driveway, but there are no permits posted for what appears to be quite a bit of work.

    The homeless have set up camp and erected structures and tents in the Dallas Mill field along the railroad tracks. As a result, lots of trash and needles have started showing up along the paths over there.

    The sidewalk along Andrew Jackson at the corner of School Street was torn up some time ago and never repaired. This gets to be a muddy mess when it rains. Can the city please look at this short run of sidewalk and replace it?

    It appears the person living at 503 Forrest Circle does not have any utilities. The utilities were cut off (red tag on the door) months ago. This is a bit of a concern with no water (sewage?), no garbage pickup, and no electricity. Can you confirm his utilities are still turned off? He is living there now with his dog.

    The pothole opening appears to be only the size of a brick, but it is easy to see that it bells out below the surface of the road. The area under the asphalt is washed out. Once the road bed heats up in the sun, this could open up enough to swallow a Mini Cooper.

    An old Mazda pickup has been left behind the Huntsville RR Depot. It is inside the Depot Museum grounds. This truck has been sitting here since last year, at least. Tail light is busted and it appears not to be in working order.

    This entire area backs up into the surrounding streets and into the field at Dallas every time we have heavy rains. The field at Dallas beside the old fire station is covered in water that is from this overflow. There are no signs, etc. to warn people of the contaminated area. People walk their dogs, kids play, and people collect pecans from this contaminated area.

    This section of Dallas had a water leak a couple of months ago and it is back, again. It is the same location across from the lot where they are preparing the re-bar as the last leak; it is coming up more towards the middle of the road this time.

    The street light/parking lot lights are out in this part of the Lee High School parking lot. There are often cars parking in this darkened lot at night now for whatever purposes. The area is seldom patrolled by HPD or the City Schools Security. Can we please have these lights turned back on at night to deter the increased nefarious activity? Thank you!
