We've noticed an older RV Camper parked in the lot at the boat landing on at the end of Smetana Lane. It's always parked in the same place--facing the house-above-the-dam. We've seen it only in the daytime, when we're walking. (We've never been over there after dark.) We're wondering whether the owner may be parked there overnight and is sleeping in it. It's more of a curiosity than a concern that we've had for over a month now.

Continued problems with erosion onto north shore of Lake Smetana trail behind LAKEVIEW OFFICE BLDG on Valley View Road: (1) erosion from east parking lot drain, and (2) erosion from west parking lot drain. In addition, there's a VERY SERIOUS tree overhang midway between the two erosion sites. [Heliotropism on steroids!]

Utility box top needs to be set back in place before someone inadvertently steps off sidewalk and trips on it.

Trash left behind by someone that used Lake Smetana Park several days ago. It’s more than a friendly neighbor (me) can just pick up and carry to a nearby trash receptacle. Send someone with a shovel.

Dead carcass--large muskrat or a woodchuck--lying a couple feet off sidewalk between the 2nd & 3rd NO PARKING signs just past Smetana Lane on Valley View Road. Within view of pedestrians. [Too large for a resident to discard into trash.]

New sinkhole adjacent to the one earlier reported and fixed. Located on the curbline in road.

Erosion (again!) from Lakeview Business Center parking lot drain overflow has covered the trail on the north shore of Lake Smetana. It's a recurring problem every time it rains. Sand pile-up over the past week now has become hazardous for walkers and bicyclists.

Median sign on Smetana Lane at Valley View Drive has been knocked/over again. Has been lying there for several days over July 4th weekend.

Continuation of issue presented on Monday November 16.
On Wednesday November 18, the rock-in-snow-on trail was still there. However, there were TWO rocks--I was able to lift one out and set it aside the trail, but the other was still impacted. This is a photo taken Wednesday.

Repairs to deck in Lake Smetana Park are suggested for small child safety reasons.
Photo shows how one vertical post in railing is missing. Also a large section of the bottommost horizontal railing board has rotted and broken away.
