This tree was fixed/straightened by the City a week or so ago, but the tension should be put on the UPWIND instead of the downwind side.
    More details:
The location is the 2nd street tree directly east of 2558 Traver Blvd. The tree had been knocked askew months ago and the City came a week or so ago and straightened it and tied it down to keep it upright, but unfortunately the ties put too much pressure on the downwind (east) side of the tree, so last night's high-wind storm bent the tree back to the east. Instead, the tree needs ties that put more tension on the upwind (west) side of the tree.
  • 2558 Traver Blvd Ann Arbor, MI 48105, USA - Ann Arbor
The location is the second street-tree directly east of 2558 Traver Blvd. It appears that someone has run into the tree in the past day or so. Because this has happened so recently and because the earth around the base is still soft and wet, it appears that the tree can be saved by someone who can push it upright again and shovel the top soil back into place.
