    Litter/Dumping Acknowledged
    3801 San Pablo Ave Emeryville, CA, 94608, USA - Emeryville
    Garbage, a mattress, rats, weeds, dog poop, neglect. All along West MacArthur at the corner of Emery (3801 San Pablo Ave address). No one is cleaning, gardening sweeping or patrolling this whole block. It is scary and disgusting. Read threads from through the years and you will see that the City and the East Bay Bridge Shopping Center and Adeline Place are all ignoring this block. I have a dog and it is impossible to walk him here. We need cleaning and enforcement.

    We need some code enforcement on private private property owned by East Baybridge Shopping Center. There is a large dead tree and garbage accumulating in a small fenced area next to our building on the MacArthur Blvd side. I am repeating this issue because I don't seem to be getting any response from the City of Emeryville. I think only the City of Emeryville has the authority to issue an enforcement order to East Baybridge Shopping Center. Please don't back-burner this issue. It has been an eyesore and garbage and rat attactor for a year now. It is just next to the door of our building where I go in and out and must walk my dog every day. Thank-you very much for attending to this!

    There is a dead tree in the enclosed area behind Adeline Place along MacArthur Blvd. This enclosed area belongs to East BayBridge Shopping Center and they control the key. The dead tree is a safety hazard and and an eyesore. There are also weeds and trash in the enclosed area that must be cleaned up. This neglected area attracts more litter in an area of Emeryville that is already very trashy.

    I was told by Emeryville DPW (Mike Mahoney) a few years ago that that this small gated area behind our building (Adeline Place) is classified as a Mini-Park/Greenspace. Catellus was asked by the City to fence in the area to keep people from dumping and sleeping in there. The lock has been broken and needs to be fixed. I think Catellus is no longer managing East Baybridge Shopping Center. I need your help to get this lock fixed by the property managers because the dumping and sleeping has returned. Thank-you!

    These are two lights lighting the MacArthur underpass at Emery Street on the Westbound side. They also help light the neighborhood. It is a big concern because of the high crime rate in this area. Thank-you!
