The Left Turn signal from Second Street (northbound) onto Emery Highway (westbound) is out of sync with the other lights. Up until a week or two ago, the Left Turn signal would wait until the end of the cycle to turn green so that a car traveling northbound on Second Street could pass through the first light and then complete their left turn in the same light cycle.

Now, the turn lanes for Northbound and Southbound on 2nd Street are aligned at the same time again. That means a car wanting to go onto Emery Highway has sit at the first red light as traffic turns left and can only join the turn lane once that light has changed to red as the first light turns green. Ideally, the cycle should be Southbound traffic from 2nd Street First (including left turns Eastbound onto Emery) and then Traffic Northbound on Second with cars turning left to go westbound at the end. This was the pattern followed until a week or two ago.

Thank you for looking at this!

The intersection of Cherry Street Lane with New Street has now had 3 instances within the past 60 days of trucks getting stuck in this turn. Given that it has become increasingly common, I'd like to request that Public Works look at leveling out pavement on the street to avoid these issues.

Broadly, this has the potential to block traffic on New Street causing problems for motorists. More specifically though, the residents of 12 homes and 10 apartments become stranded in their parking lots whenever this occurs. For three homes in particular, their only access to fire/ambulance services is also blocked.

On behalf of the New Street Development HOA, thanks for whatever you can do to assist. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any further questions.

Good morning! The past couple days, the timing of the lights on Cherry Street has been a little bit off. Specifically, if the lights are green at 1st Street and 2nd Street for traffic on Cherry Street, the light at Cotton Ave is always red. Likewise, the Cotton Ave light only turns green for Cherry Street when 1st and 2nd Street are both red.

As a result, my car has gotten stuck at every single one of those lights going down Cherry Street. I believe in the past, Cotton Ave was synched with 1st Street and New Street. That would be a helpful fix if possible.

    Thanks!
