I know that this is in Abbot, but there isn't a page set up. From the Gun Shop (formerly restaurant) to the four corners in Abbot (about a 2.5 mile stretch) is in absolutely terrible condition. I've destroyed two tires coming in different directions and may have impacted my car's alignment. This patch of road was fixed a few years ago, and I would say that its in even worse shape than before. There are many potholes, gaps, cracks, bumps, frost heaves, and even the side of the road is falling apart. I try to avoid this area as much as possible but with the Back Abbot road flooded, it's more and more difficult to. Today I was drivng down the road and I wasn't the only one swerving into the other lane of traffic to avoid the issues of this road. Someone will get hurt eventually if this is not fixed, and the State of Maine will have blood on it's hands. I can't imagine having a trailer with snowmobiles and ATVs having to go up to Greenville on it. Let alone the truckers and eventually motorcyclists this summer. I also think there should be a weight limit on this road as you can see the wear and tear many log trucks over the years have caused the road to warp. I hate to be that guy and I know how important the route is to the logging industry but something has to change.

2.5 mile stretch of road from the old restaurant (gun store signs on it) to the four corners in Abbot is in terrible condition. The entire stretch is falling apart. I blew two tires and damaged the alignment on my car in 2 seperate incidents coming in both directions. This road was "repaired" a few years ago but is even worse than it was. There is one major pothole right before the Wagon Wheel that was "patched over" but there are so many other ones that can cause accidents. Whenever I have to go through this area now I try to avoid it by going on the Back Abbot road or another way around. I can't see how people with trailers and trucks actually make it up that section without causing an accident or breaking an axle. This road should be leveled and totally rebuilt. There are so many pothoels, cracks, bumps, and even the sides of the road are falling apart in places. Something needs to be done before someone gets hurt!

Street is in rough shape. Narrowly miss manholes, gaps, potholes, and storm drains. In fact a lot of streets in Guilford should be repaired.
