This tree has grown onto our roof and is becoming a structural hazard, can we get somebody out to mitigate it before winter time?
  • 9 Eliot St Cambridge 02138, United States - West Cambridge
Are these really marked for winter removal as the signs say or recently installed and just need the signs removed?

On both sides of the street there are exposed sign post mounts and traffic signs laying on the side of the road, I’m not sure if they’re being taken down or being put up but they are a bit of a public hazard as is
  • Hurlbut St & Linnaean St Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Neighborhood 9
This car one Hurlbut St had its front end knocked off and is the 3rd car to get visibly dinged at the mouth of Hurlbut and Linnaean in the last 2-3 weeks. Cars fly off Linnaean to cut down to Mass Ave and often never look to see a car coming up Hurlbut—the street is too narrow to accommodate two cars, so a car must pull over and yield to the other. The incidents of near collision, amount of traffic and incidents of reckless speeding have been on the rise. Is there something in the Traffic toolbox to calm this — a one way to Martin would make sense but then that just shifts the scenario to other streets. Restrictive access during rush hour is another idea as is police monitoring.
  • 30–98 Scott St Cambridge 02138, United States - Agassiz-Harvard

So I submitted your request a while ago, but there is none of signage on the counter flow turn onto Scott St. The response was that it was signage that, but as I pointed out the request the cars coming from scott and Beacon in both directions have no awareness.

The one sign you have only tells cyclist that they can go down Scott Street there is no awareness for cars, especially cars coming out of Scott and turning left onto Beacon who have no idea that place you’re coming straight across to the counter flow which looks like a parking line at best

You’re setting up collision points that don’t have to be there, add better sign

I got honked at by an suv coming out to Scott st tonight and had I not yielded to him turning left when I had the right away he would’ve hit me

The crosswalk light at Mass Avenue and Garfield is out and has been out for two days. A lot of families rely on this traffic light to cross for school.
  • 76-84 Brattle St Cambridge 02138, United States - West Cambridge

From a cycling POV thIs left from Mason to Brattle is problematic let alone the Brattle straight into the one way portion, there’s no guidance for cars or bikes.

It would be great if there was paint or signs alerting cyclists how to proceed and alerting MVs that cyclists will be navigating according to traffic rules that differ from their rules of the road.

  • 36–48 Mount Auburn St Cambridge MA 02138, United States - Riverside

Mt Aub Street has been repaved, however there is no more bike markings, and when you do mark it, can you please address the bus situation (where they park they take uo the bike lane, may use full lane?) also you have a bike corral out where I believe the bike lane would be so you need to do something about that as well

    Thx

  • 51–55 Garden St Cambridge MA 02138, United States - Neighborhood 9

Can we get some Sharrows or share the road signs added to Garden Street, it’s pretty tight and cars drive too fast as is.There may be some bigger longer-term plans in place, but this is a simple can do now.

    Thanks

  • 42 Brattle St Cambridge Ma 02138 United States - West Cambridge

It would be great if there was a sign on this stretch alerting drivers to the bi bike lane with counter flow traffic. Might have to wait for the construction to finish.

    Thx
