2100 block of east broad onward going west
there are piles of bricks everywhere. on sidewalks. in the street. no cones. only a few are surrounded by tape. there are bricks spilling into some streets obstructing roads. this is safety hazard.

alley way behind building recently had potholes filled with red clay. red clay is currently a danger and a mess. alley is a steep hill on both sides. the steepest side is where most of the clay was put down. rain is softening clay, causing vehicles to sink into or slip on the clay. clay gets embedded in tires tracking red clay for several blocks. the fact that the clay is embedding itself into the tracking of tires is a further safety hazard that follows the driver with them on the road. if not fixed soon the weather will only cause more erosion, making this alley more dangerous than it already is.
everytime i leave my driveway i am in fear of sliding and wrecking my car.

2507 East Broad Street Richmond, Virginia - Church HillThe city has torn up the sidewalk leaving a gaping hole DIRECTLY in front of our office without ANY letter or warning saying they planned to do so. Site is left roped off with no workers and no signs. The entrance to our business is closed off. We are open 10 - 6pm mon - sat. This is also a fire code and safety concern, not to mention clients can't access our building.

This section of Mosby/E. Leigh that wraps around the park is riddled with several large potholes.

This is the 4th time reporting this, with the most recent being on 01/03/2017. Issue was closed, but work was NOT done. I decided to just copy and paste my previous message.
"I reported this almost a year ago, and then again on 10-11-2016. The issue has been closed, yet no work has been done. The Majority of clay street is one giant pothole that needs to be repaved, not just patched up. Not only is it a safety issue, but has the potential to damage property such as people's personal vehicles. It's also an eyesore for residents and visiting VCU students who use this road to get to class and the grocery store/kroger that the street leads to."

Other AcknowledgedEast Leigh Street Richmond, Virginia - Biotech And MCV DistrictNot sure if this is the right place to report this, but there is an issue with speeding cars on the leigh street bridge. The speed limit is 35 and I often encounter other driver's speeding up to 60. This is dangerous for other driver's as well as people commuting by bicycle, as many driver's merge too early or attempt to use the bike lane (which is on the right) as a passing lane to speed around other drivers.

This is the third time I have made a ticket for this. Please fix this!
The city did work back in the winter and did not clean up after itself when the work was completed. Holes, tar, and loose gravel was left all over the road. The complete side of my car got covered in tar that was kicked up from other drivers. The city finally came by several weeks ago and laid a giant patch on some of the holes, but did not clean up the tar and gravel they had previously left behind. Within a day or two this new patch already started to erode.
It should not be like this in the first place. The city needs to clean after itself and set a good example for it's citizens.
This also can not be cheap for the city to keep coming back here and throwing tar on top of the problems. A job done well the first time is less costly in the long run for both the city and the drivers of richmond.
