  • Mound St @ Fillmore Alameda, California - Alameda
I reported a potentially dangerous long tree limb that grows across the street almost, about a month ago. The tree guys came a while ago, were cutting off little branches, grinding them, etc for about 45 minutes. When I looked again, they had left and didn't remove the overhanging limb! A strong wind could snap it off, plus, it looks like it's starting to rot under the 'armpit' where it grows from trunk. I knew I should have gone out and pointed it out to them, but I was on the phone dealing with something for a long time. Now, back to square one, and pray there are no strong windstorms in near future!

I reported a very long tree limb that was growing almost clear across Mound St. about a month ago. The tree guys were just here were cutting small branches and grinding stuff about 45 minutes. When I looked again, they hadn't cut the limb off that I'm worried about blowing down in a strong wind! I knew I should have gone out and said something to them at the time, but I was on the phone dealing with stuff then. Believe me, you would think twice about parking under this thing, plus, it appears to be rotting in the 'armpit' area where it grows out from the trunk.
  • Oak St. @ San Jose Alameda, California - Alameda
When sitting on Oak at stop sign, it is near impossible to see cars either way up or down San Jose, especially coming from the Park St. direction. Large vehicles parked near last parking spot on the left on S.J. usually obscure oncoming cars. I've almost been hit 20 times over the last five years, cautiously trying to turn left there, especially if the oncoming car is speeding. I feel that this is one of the most dangerous intersections in town and should probably be turned into a 4-way stop.
