    The Portland Water District responded to a water main break. Great. The work was intermittent. But for hours the crew idled all equipment and all four trucks on scene. I asked about it and was told “they can’t freeze”. But the temp was above freezing. Terrible waste, air and climate hazard.

    No. These bags of trash did not come from 142 Pine Street. That’s my house. We put one bag of trash in an official bag and one recycling bin out on Neal Street. These bags (see picture) were outside 140 Pine. Your crew moved them closer to my house and tagged them with my address.

    This intersection needs better stop sign deployment or a light. Here's a comment posted by someone else online today for neighborhood discussion: "Is anybody else concerned with the removal of the flashing red lights at the intersection of Brackett and Danforth Streets? The stop signs are not clearly visible and one is obscured by a tree. Soon after the lights were removed, I watched a big tour bus cruise right through the light headed east. Could have been a tragedy."
