A city tree is falling on sidewalk in front of house, resting on a public utility line. This has the potential to cause a lot of damage - to individuals and to personal property and could present a huge liability to the city. I have called the city's non-emergency number twice (a neighbor called once as well) over the course of 24 hours. Finally someone from the DPU showed up. He is stuck because he can only deal with the power line, not the tree, and the Dept of Public works would have to deal with the tree. They are refusing to come out, which presents a danger to the people, cars, and homes on this street.
