Donation Station. A few years ago I was asked for ideas regarding care of te homeless in St. Petersburg. I had heard about other cities using old parking meters to collect money for the homeless. AT LAST!. I found one on the waterfront near the pier. I tried to insert coins but it would not accept them. If you are basing a test of effectiveness on the 12 that are reported to be currently installed, you are going to come up short if they will not accept money. When they are emptied, may I suggest that they are also to checked to make sure they work?. Congratulations on finding at least one solution that works. Now let's keep them working.
