Ever since our street was repaved a few years ago there is no longer a curb in front of our house. Consequently rain and snow cause a buildup of water or ice on our sidewalk because it doesn't drain to the catch basin on the corner any more. Our sidewalk has sunk several inches as a result and fills with water and ice.
