Request a "Children at Play" sign and a speedbump or a bumpout at the top of Marble Ave (I own 69 Marble Ave and volunteer our parking spot to become a bumpout). Almost 2 dozen young children now live on Marble Ave, and are playing on the sidewalks daily. Drivers using Marble Ave as a shortcut are tearing down the road putting everyone in danger, both kids, and property that might be damaged by a swerving driver. I am a parent of two children young children, and make this request along with three other families. Happy to create a petition if needed.

Still not plowed: The sidewalk plow came by again this morning and again skipped the 20 feet in front of our house (69 Marble Ave). Did the driver consider the sidewalk now unplowable because of the frozen ice on it? Were my neighbor's two recycling bins too much of an obstacle? Does s/he feel that the sidewalk is too narrow to fit the plow on? Both sides of the sidewalk above and below my house were plowed. I would love to know why the plow operator continues to decide not to plow my sidewalk so that I can help make it possible for him or her.

The south sidewalk on Marble Avenue was not plowed above #64, and snow from the street was plowed up onto the sidwalk. The sidewalk is now a jumble of frozen, rutted snow and ice and very treacherous. The other side of the street was plowed. I am wondering why this small section of sidewalk (in front of my house) was ignored, and if the city is planning to plow it this winter or not. Marble Avenue is popular with pedestrians coming from Pine St, and it is dangerous to force them to walk in the road on this one-way street.
