    I understand that it may be necessary to do road construction work for the Witherspoon Street Phase III project during drop-off times at Community Park Elementary School, but please consider sending more police out to marshall traffic. The scene this morning was chaotic and potentially unsafe. Lane closures outside the school, combined with the unresolved intersection mess by the PAFARS station at Route 206, were causing traffic backups and contributing to weird driver behavior. Please prioritize safety during this construction project.

    Gentle request to please check the A/V equipment at 400 Witherspoon. The video recording of the last Princeton Council meeting from Feb 12 was missing audio and / or video, and when there was sound, it was unintelligible. Some of us do actually watch or listen to the recordings of these meetings and it would be great if we could keep going with having useful videos!

    Unsafe work site - Bayard Lane & Leigh Ave
    This project has created an extremely dangerous condition for sidewalk users by forcing them to walk on a crowded state highway (Route 206) during rush hour. At an absolute minimum, pedestrian detour signs should be in place. I am surprised that town staff authorized such a haphazard and dangerous condition.

    Question about brush pickup.
    Dates for yard waste collection are now listed as "log/branch" or "loose leaf". If I cut back / trim a load of bushes or hedges, should I put that kind of yard waste out with "log / branches" or "loose leaves"? This is what I would have called "brush" in the past, but now "brush" is not an option. I know the town is being stricter about this now, so I wanted to check.

    Recycling was not picked up as scheduled today on Walnut Lane or Dempsey Ave around the PSEG work zone. Have the police been advised to give access to the recycling pickup crews?
    There is also supposed to be yard waste pickup in Section 1 this week. Have the police been advised to give access to Public Works?

    Good morning. I have seen guys doing utility work in the area around Valley Road / Jefferson Road / Walnut Lane in recent days. This has involved road closures. Now some guys came up our street (top of Walnut, Dempsey Ave) and started spraying markings and planting flags. I assume they are going to close our street next. Can we get a heads-up about what is going on and what it will involve? I just don't want to get into a situtation where we are trying to take the kids to summer camp and we are blocked into our driveway by a big digger or trench or something.

    Hi, there is an ornamental redbud tree, on the property line next to the street / public right-of-way, on the left hand side of the driveway as you face the house, right above the sign that says "99". When I was getting my roof replaced, the contractor hit it with a truck, and split the middle of the tree. They tied it together with bungee cords, and left without saying anything. I found it, and now I am concerned that the tree is going to die. I was wondering if the arborist could swing by and take a look at it, and give me any advice about whether any surgery or products are advisable, to maximize the chance that the tree might survive?

    Please advise if the town of Princeton provides any service for pickup / disposal of an old broken-down lawnmower from a residential address. I understand the River Road Convenience Center is closed but the municipal website does not explain how to dispose of old mowers. I have removed all the gas and oil. Thanks!

    Please clear out the poison ivy that is growing behind the shade structure adjacent to the parking lot at the baby pool at Community Park pool. It is looking extremely healthy and it would be easy for a kid to touch it.

    Please can whoever is responsible upload videos of the Planning Board to the municipal website. Videos are being regularly posted for Council and the Zoning Board of Adjustment but not the Planning Board dataing back through 9/24/20. Thanks.

    Barbara Smoyer playground is still fenced off with a sign indicating that it is closed. Per Gov. Murphy Executive Order #157, dated June 26, 2020, playgrounds in New Jersey could reopen as of July 2, 2020. Playgrounds in other municipalities in New Jersey have already reopened. I am requesting that this public resource be reopened immediately.

    This is an Princeton Parking App issue.
    I tried to use the app to park at meter #0110, which is opposite Jazam's. To start a new parking session, you have to enter the appropriate 'zone' on the app. There is no zone indicated, anywhere. It appears that there is no zone for this meter. I tried to select several other 'nearby' zones, but meter #0110 was not an option for any of those zone. Please check. I was unable to use the app but I used quarters instead.
