Dead/dying trees on public property Archived1622 Nottoway Ave Richmond, Virginia - BellevueI live on 1622 Nottoway Ave and there is a public street right of way that abutts the side of my house with two trees on it that need to be either trimmed or removed. I moved in three weeks ago and I already have had a tree limb from one of these trees fall on my property and damage my shed and fence. Please send someone to take care of these trees asap, before they do further damage to my property. Thanks.

The dept. of public works surveys and right of ways management division told me that the trees on the side of my lot along Chevy Chase St are on a public right of way. On Saturday I had a limb fall on my property and damage my fence and shed. I would like these trees trimmed or removed before they do further damage to my property. I can try to attach an image is from the dept of public works that shows where my lot line ends and the city right of way begins, if that is necessary. Also, can you direct me to the dept where I can inquire about being compensated for the damage to my property. Thank you,
