    St. John St. (residential section between Park Ave and Brighton Ave) is a No Truck Zone. However all hours of every day see large commercial vehicles barreling down the street in order to cut through the residential corridor. These vehicles are loud and dangerous and need to be reminded of the no-truck status here.

    Loud beeping from snow equipment all through the night 1/7 into 1/8. Multiple other nights this has been an issue recently. Activity is occurring in private green-space at corner of Avon St. and Cumberland Ave. Crews are dumping many tons of snow here which is in itself hazardous. This is private equipment and private property and the crew is making illegal noise. Please enforce/prosecute existing ordinance.

    Community police office has claimed an illegal parking space for itself on the East side of Atlantic Street in front of the Munjoy Hill Neighborhood Organization house at the corner of Congress St.

    This "parking space" is actually right next to a stop sign, which is not a legal parking place. When the police SUV (which routinely illegally has its engine running without an occupant inside) parks here, the crossing becomes dangerous as drivers approaching congress st. in a north-bound direction cannot see the stop sign or any pedestrians in the crosswalk.

    Workers at this address have had the sidewalk blocked off for over 2 weeks. They also park a supply trailer in the street which pedestrians are forced to walk around, the only option being to walk in the travel lane of congress st.

    Utility pole damaged. This pole is at the NW corner (directly diagonal across from Crooked Mile café). It is frequently hit by semi trailers turning right from Stevens going southbound onto Brighton to go westbound. The various run-ins have whittled the wooden pole down to about half its original thickness at a section in the bottom third of the pole. One day it will snap and come down on cars and pedestrians.

    The William Hoit house at 83 St. Lawrence is under construction with no visible permit. This is the oldest structure on this part of Munjoy Hill and should be treated very carefully when it comes to structural changes. The construction is in the rear, visible from Waterville St. and appears to be a two-level deck.

    For years this house has operated a towing service from the residence. There is always some type of tow truck parked on the sidewalk obstructing the sidewalk and the street. Many children play at this spot (including those at 13 Leonard itself) and it's hard to see them around the tow trucks.

    One of the trucks frequently parked here is a massive multi-ton flatbed that obstructs about half of the the street. To compensate the driver parks it halfway on the sidewalk, completely obstructing the sidewalk. I know of at least one accident that occurred because the driver couldn't see around the truck. Ironically one party to this accident was the resident of 13 Leonard who couldn't see around his own truck when backing his car out of his driveway.

    MANY times a day (and night!) the trucks from this residence/business go out to tow cars and when they do they speed down Leonard street past children playing on the sidewalks and streets. The tow trucks are VERY loud when accelerating as they do, in addition to being dangerous.

    The house also has (and uses daily) a barbecue on their wooden porch. Said porch has been "under construction" for at least three years with no permits posted. I believe every sentence above describes a hazard and violation.
