Description

The intersection of Darien and St. Elmo in the Brookfield neighborhood is a four-way intersection and should either be controlled by stop signs or a traffic signal. Our neighborhood has neither. (Shame on the City!)

There is no way for us to control the incoming and outgoing traffic, furthermore, it is increasingly difficult for drivers (especially seniors) to view oncoming traffic, which makes the turning maneuver more hazardous.

The city recently worked on the neighborhood sidewalks making them now accessible (adding curb ramp) to be compliant with ADA requirements.

Please help keep our drivers and pedestrians safe by implementing the proper traffic control.
