The Valmar is next door to a cannabis dispensary called Ketama. I'm not certain if the Valmar is connected to Ketama but it seems as though one fellow in particular deals some sort of drugs through pulled up car windows regularly.

Now they're dealing out of the back of the Travelodge windows, too.

I live within a block of here, but have not noticed drug dealing associated with Valmar. However, i did recently notice some suspicious goings on out the back windows of the Travelodge, and a friend who lives in a loft next door confirmed to me a few days ago that people had been dealing drugs out of the motel windows facing McCoppin St.
