Why would we want to remove things just because people run into them? They need to NOT run into them. Those 'sticks' are there to let people know there is a barrier (curb) there on the ground that they may not have seen before they get up too close to see them. So no, don't remove them. They are protection for the Bike Lanes. Replace the sticks that some careless driver ran over. Thank goodness it wasn't a biker, or someone's vehicle parked there.

They are in the parking lanes at the intersections, not the shared bike lane; they don't protect bikers or anyone else. Simply visual clutter.
