Description

Request for red zones in highlighted areas in attached picture on 8th avenue adjacent to and across from Safeway loading dock between Fulton and Cabrillo. I happened to be riding the 44 home last week and experienced what is almost a daily (or semi-daily) occurrence - a truck driver struggling, for nearly 10-15 minutes, to back into the Safeway loading dock, and all modes on the street, especially MUNI, getting stuck. Only the most experienced drivers can routinely pull it off smoothly, and having talked with several, there's a general consensus that these two curb spaces, when there are vehicles there (especially when poorly parked) make it extremely difficult. This issue would almost go away entirely if they were painted red.
