The traffic light at Paseo Grande and 6th Street stays green too long for Sixth Street traffic when it's not rush hour. Isn't there a sensor that could be adjusted to reduce wait times on Paseo Grande.

Thank you for your comment. There are sensors that detect the vehicles at every intersection in Corona. This signal is staying green because it has been synchronized with the rest of the traffic signals on Sixth Street. While synchronize we often hold the main street in green automatically because we expect a clusters of vehicles to past through the intersection with minimal delay. However, this can mean that side streets and left turns can be delayed. We will take a look at how this signal is currently programmed and make any necessary adjustments we can to reduce delays in all directions. If you have any more issues concerning traffic in Corona, please contact the Traffic Engineering Division at 951-736-2266.
Thank you.
